Purchasing and Inventory Assistant Main Purpose of the Job: The key roles of the job are : Procurement of inventory and non inventory items as per Plant needs and qualifications on time and right price. Receiving materials as per the purchase orders and stocking them in the right place with proper identification in a timely manner. Keeping track of major consumables and inventory. Reporting receipts and purchases on a regular intervals. Keeping healthy relationship with vendors and business partners. Key Tasks/Responsibilities: Tasks to include but not limited to: - Maintain strong working relationships with our vendors Review purchasing agreements with vendors and maintain open lines of communications with those vendors Collaborate together with the Plant Manger and develop an active process for measuring supply inventory and determining purchasing needs based on quarterly and annual numbers Stay up to date with industry trends and establish longterm purchasing arrangements with vendors when it
