Warehouse/Driver Associate - (New London, CT)

Position Explanation: This role may be responsible for all general warehouse, shipping and receiving duties or portions of these duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager or Branch Manager. This role may also serve as a back-up driver and will need to hold a medical card. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Misc: Pick orders and record picked quantity on the picking ticket. Record initials on the 'picked by' line. Box or bag the order. Record the shipping details at the bottom of the picking ticket - i.e. number of cartons, coils, bundles, etc. Use shipping labels to record the customer's name, sales order number and purchase order number. Apply labels to the boxes, bags or cartons. May complete the Hazardous Product Shipping Log and the daily shipping log. Aid in loading or unloading of trucks as needed. Label sold products and place the product in the tag and hold area of the warehouse.
