Broker Account Executive - Commercial Insurance - (Peoria, IL)

POSITION DESCRIPTION The Broker Account Executive is responsible for promoting and selling new business in assigned Pearl Practice Groups through Pearl's broker network to potential clients over the following channels: phone, email, mail, and personal visits. This position may be required to handle some level of servicing for the broker, and/or broker's clients during their 1st year of policy coverage with Pearl until the business can become institutionalized into the Client Relations (Retention) team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Assignments include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Serve as Pearl's liaison for Tier five and Tier six brokers (approx 700 brokers). Responsible for new business sales through Pearl's Broker network for brokers categorized as Tier five and Tier six brokers. Ensure all Tier five and Tier six brokers maintain Compliance requirements (licensing, E&O, etc---). Facilitate the application, underwriting, binding and issuing process with the Broker.
