Reference Standard Laboratory Scientist I - (Milford, CT)

Summary of the Position This is a non-supervisory position at the USP-Brazil site responsible for performing a variety of routine chemical analyses to assess the identity and purity of bulk pharmaceutical, food chemical, dietary supplement, and small peptide/biological materials as applicants for the USP Reference Standards program, in addition management and disposal of laboratory residuals. Incumbent manages inventory and monthly report of controlled chemicals in accordance with Army and Police regulations. Works as a member of a team, with supervisory guidance, and effectively conducts general analytical tests using established plans and official test procedures.
