Classification Title: Biological Scientist III Job overview: Conduct molecular and biochemical assays, which involves analytical, and quantitative molecular and biochemical techniques. These assays will include the preparation of buffers and other laboratory solutions or reagents, dissection or sub-dissection of tissue specimens, isolation/fractionation of nucleic acids or proteins from tissue homogenates, and processing brain samples using colorimetric/fluorimetric assays, ELISA, RIA, PCR, SDS-PAGE and immunoblotting. Analyze data for experiments Maintain current inventory of chemicals, biological reagents and consumables.
