QC Laboratory Technician - (Macedonia, OH)

Kelly Scientific Resources has an immediate opportunity available in north Akron, Ohio for a QC Lab Tech. Growth potential position. We are looking for a strong leader, strong troubleshooting and resolution skills, someone more than just testing batches and raw materials. This person will start out testing raw material and batches, but they need to be able to rather quickly.Shift ? Monday-Thursday 7am-5:30pm (10 hour shift). OT would occur as needed on Fridays. Key functions:? ??Perform wet chemistry techniques (i.e. pH level, Viscosity, Specific Gravity, Karl Fisher) on raw materials and/or finished goods. ???Perform quality control checks on Manufacturing lines and Compounding ??Document data results. ??Lab equipment maintenance, calibration, and cleaning. ??Set up and monitor stability studies for New Product Development and existing products. ??Maintain product standards library. ??Create MSDS and CMA?s ??Other responsibilities as assigned.
