Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer - (Springfield, MA)

Position overview Responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with our suppliers Support Supplier Quality Engineers & incoming inspection with external and internal challenges Work together with engineering, purchasing and incoming to define & support project deliverables and address supplier concerns Coordinate 1st Article Inspections Conducting supplier quality audits to add value to both the supplier and accurately assess the health, consistency, reliability and overall performance of the supplier Support manufacturing to ensure supplier quality issues are quickly identified on the production floor, communicated to the supplier and corrective action is verified with the supplier Champion the development & execution of action plans for the continuous improvement of our incoming inspection and 1st article submission processes Communicate extensively with suppliers to foster a positive partnership while assuring compliance to our drawings and purchase orders Qualify suppliers and perform
