Veterinary Technician - 30A Vet30A Vet is seeking a qualified veterinary technician. This person needs to be a positive, upbeat team member. We prefer some background and will continue training anyone willing to learn. We are open six days a week and need someone who is flexible and available weekends. We also have emergency hours, which will open the possibility of overtime. There will be multiple interviews, with 1 being a working interview to be sure you fit in with our team and culture.Duties include:Pulling/running blood workPerforming nail trims/ear cleanings, etc.Must be comfortable restraining and working with aggressive patients.Gathering patient history from clients and assisting Doctors in rooms with patients.Running diagnostic testing.Helping Doctors with notesDiscussing medications and discharge instructions with ownerAdministering vaccinations, fluids, and medications.Calculating dosage of medications.Caring for hospitalized patients.Prepping patients for surgery
