Engineering Technologist - Creo / manufacturing / Engineering Job summary:An American global diversified industrial company is currently seeking a Engineering Technician the in Evans, GA area. This is a 1-year CONTRACT position, with the possibility of extension. Local applicants only, no per diem available. Responsibilities for the Engineering Technologist Analyze engineering drawings in the context of the release and change notices, related drawings, and release records as needed. Work with Engineering to resolve discrepancies. Coach and mentor Engineering on drafting standards and efficiencies to drive quality and supplier capability. Markup drawings and bills of material for each part and/or assembly. Establish best practices and update or release engineering drafting standards and standard work as needed. Help drive new methods in Drawing Checking to streamline and increase quality of 1st pass yield for drawings.
