Laboratory Coordinator - (Bastrop, LA)

Omega Diagnostics is currently accepting applications for a Full time Laboratory Coordinator at our Bastrop location. Responsibilities: The Laboratory Coordinator performs a variety of duties, under the general direction of the Director, including but not limited to the management and operations of the Laboratory. They will be responsible for the direct oversight of daily operations in the Laboratory Department to include staffing, scheduling, performance evaluations and competencies and problem resolution. Adequately resolves all departmental issues, both technical and personnel related. Responsible for Laboratory policies, procedures, quality improvement, equipment validations, financial budgetary goals, and inventory control. Maintains technical knowledge and operates department in accordance with regulatory guidelines with knowledge of Joint Commission, COLA and CLIA regulations. Works with Company and Regional Management to ensure the Lab department's workflow fulfills customer service obligations.
