Research Associate - (Westwood, CA)

Responsibilities The position includes service as a member of a research team that is focused on studies of spinal cord and peripheral nerve injuries and repair using a combination of functional and morphological methods. The team also provides collaboration with international groups of investigators using transmission electron microscopy for the study of autonomic function, neuromodulation, and neural repair. The position includes extensive interactions with basic and translational neuroscientists, clinician scientists, engineers, informatics experts, and imaging experts. Work will include the development of customized computer based solutions for quantitative analysis of morphological and morpho-physiological data. Qualifications Strong organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills to work with minimal to moderate supervision. Skill in working as part of a team and maintaining cooperative working relationships with members of the laboratory staff.
