Director - Sports Operations (Office of the Director of Athletics) - (Atlanta, GA)

Description Job Purpose: Within an assigned sport; provide recruiting and organizational ability; direct logistical, operational, and administrative functions in support of intercollegiate athletics game preparation and play. Includes event scheduling, team travel, sideline support and related administrative and promotional activities. Support the Head Coach in building an environment that inspires and empowers student-athletes to be champions in academics, competition, and life. Major Responsibilities: Supervise arrangements for team travel including transportation, hotel, meals, etc. Develop budget and monitor expenses associated with assigned sport operations. Oversee practice, pre-game and sidelines support operations. Develop schedules covering practices, travel and other events related to team participation. Support recruiting efforts through coordination of recruiting travel, campus visits, etc. Provide sport promotional support through such activities as clinic/camp organization and community service.
