Controls Engineer - (Sidney, OH)

A job for an Electrical Controls Engineer in Sidney, Ohio is available with a manufacturing client of Employer. The Electrical Controls Engineer will help design, implement, and execute our automation infrastructure. They will help outside engineering teams with designs and installation of HMI interface and required PLC programming for plastic extrusion equipment and support systems. This position will support the engineering department with 480 power systems by sizing required motor controls, safe guards and power needs. Position assignments: Assist in developing and troubleshooting software for PLCs and HMIs and provide documentation of operation info Use of AutoCAD to develop control schematics and process control specification documents (PCSDs). Supervise the design and installation of new automation control systems for the manufacturing process and work as part of an integrated design team to meet project requirements and deliverables.
