Description POSITION SUMMARY: Serve in the enterprise logistics part of the organization to provide subject matter ability in areas of commercial and military aviation maintenance and to provide analysis and course of action recommendations for heavy maintenance efforts. Assess, diagnose, analyze, and provide input for aircraft paint efforts. Assess, diagnose, analyze, and provide input for engine overhauls. Assess, diagnose, analyze, and provide input for propeller overhauls. Assess and provide assistance, as necessary for maintenance discrepancies. Use the Fixed Wing Flight Details Tracker (FFIT) to mine data and input data for efforts related to fixed wing heavy maintenance actions. Travel to Fixed Wing beddown sites and to Government and commercial heavy maintenance sites to inspect facilities and equipment for adequacy and compliance with applicable fixed wing maintenance contracts.
