Drafter - CAD / Utility / Electrical Job summary:A utility holding company serving more than 3.3 million electric customers and 1.8 million natural gas customers is looking for a Designer in the Denver, CO area. This is a 1-year CONTRACT position. No per diem available. Responsibilities for the Drafter Create, update, and revise piping sketches, working drawings, and contract documents using Computer Assisted Design (CAD) software or manual means of drafting to meet customer qualifications. Prepares 2D and 3D models. Prepare documentation to support piping design drawings. Prepare bills of material, schedules, and assist engineering personnel with formal drawing transmittals and construction issues. Assignments will be completed utilizing info provided by project engineering, architectural, or technical services staff under the direction of a supervisor. Qualifications for the Drafter Associate's degree and at least two years of background in a relevant field. Must have CADWorx piping background.
