Rural security executive allied health administration health system **Description:** **Providence is calling a Security Officer (Security, Variable Shift, 0.5 FTE) to Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center in Kodiak, Alaska.** We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable. **In this position you will:** + Maintain all aspects of Civil Law and order. + Conduct patrols of the buildings and parking areas with emphasis on client and staff safety. + Control parking access for patients using various enforcement techniques including interaction with law enforcement agencies. + Work to insure walkways and entrance are clear of ice and snow during times of inclement weather. + Respond to all "CODE" requests and incidents appropriately per hospital and departmental policy and procedures. + Be responsible for situations/incidents encountered while on duty and follow through to conclusion.
