Inventory Control Specialist DairiConcepts, Allerton, Iowa General Purpose: Receive, inspect, and inventory the incoming parts, as well as maintain accurate spare parts inventory for the plant. Position duties and Responsibilities: Receive and check-in daily parcels and freight. Store items received by identifying, tagging, and assigning part numbers, if required, and recording locations in system (SAP). Record daily usage of storeroom inventory in SAP. Assist MRO Coordinator in determining stock objectives for all parts. Perform monthly inventory cycle counts in accordance to DFA policy. Follow up on all missing or late orders. Maintain inventory items at predetermined levels to serve plant operations and administration, including safety hygiene and good manufacturing practices (GMP) items. Maintain inventory of chemicals and coordinate bulk chemicals delivery. Research equipment and supply catalogs for both stock and non-stock item purchases.
