Visiting Assistant Professor of English (Early Modern British Lit) - (Wooster, OH)

The Department of English at The College of Wooster is accepting applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of English for the 2019-2020 academic year with a specialization in Early Modern British Literature, including Shakespeare. We encourage candidates whose research engages with queer theory, gender studies, critical race studies, and/or postcolonial or other transnational approaches to the literature of the period, and we are especially interested in candidates who might contribute to 1 or more of the college's interdisciplinary programs, including Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, Environmental Studies, and Comparative Literature. 3-3 teaching load includes introductory and survey courses, upper-level courses in the field of specialization, and advising projects in the College's signature Senior Independent Study program. Ph.D. required.
