Staff Attorney - Jackson - (Jackson, MS)

Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company is seeking a staff attorney to assist in the fulfillment of the Legal Department's function involving legal issues and matters that may involve Investments, Agency, Claims, Policy Service, Underwriting, general Corporate matters and all other areas of the Company. Duties would include legal research, drafting opinions, devising defense strategies and litigation management. Qualifications Must have a Bachelor's degree, preferably business related and the Juris Doctorate degree. Must obtain membership in the Mississippi Bar within six months of hire. 1 to 2 years of related work background is strongly preferred and must have good communication, research and writing abilities.
