Possess a basic knowledge and the essential skills to provide lifesaving interventions while awaiting additional Emergency Medical Services (EMS) response and may need to assist additional EMS Responders at the scene and/or during transport.In an Ambulance setting, EMTs drive mobile intensive care units to a specified location, following instructions from emergency medical dispatcher.
