Quality Assurance Technician - (Conley, GA)

POSITION: QA TECHNICIAN REPORTS TO: QA MANAGER SCOPE: q Tests and inspects products at various stages of the production process, and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain the quality and reliability of our products. REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES: q Identifying and Reporting to Management Food Safety and Quality Issues q Test products for qualities such as temperature, defects, code dates, etc. q Run statistical tests on the results and compare the deviation from our existing standard. q Recommend modifications to our process to improve the overall quality of our product. q Prepare full disclosure reports to management. SUCCESS CRITERIA: q Customer Satisfaction Index q Overall quality of our products BACKGROUND AND SKILL QUALIFICATIONS: q High-school diploma, but a college diploma is preferred q Excellent lab, technical, and statistical skills q Good written and spoken communication abilities q Housekeeping & management skills Must be able to work 2nd shift
