Logistics Manager - Dart Transit TruckingPart of the Dart Network of companies, Dart Express is a dedicated relay system with over 30 relay points nationwide. We are looking for a goal-oriented person to work as a part of our operations team. The Logistics Manager has daily contact with both customers and drivers to schedule appointments, plan and dispatch loads, and assist the driver with understanding DOT regulations when necessary.Two schedules are available: Monday - Friday 9am-6pm with a weekend rotation or Tuesday - Saturday, 9am-6pm.This role is a hybrid between Driver Manager and Planner, with responsibilities that include but are not limited to:Schedule and dispatch driversplan freight to driver capacity to yield max utilization of drivers and equipment while meeting customer service expectations.create load plans that ensure drivers can safely execute the loads according to hours of service regulations and customer service expectations.
