Maintenance Mechanic - Dixie ConvertingDixie Converting is looking for a full time, mechanic for our Maintenance Department to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment.Primary DutiesDisassemble and repair the necessary parts on the equipment using the appropriate tools. This may include: drilling, tapping, using a torch, cleaning and removing bearings, and cleaning parts.Reassemble equipmentMaintain a clean work area.Perform routine maintenance procedures.Perform other duties as required.Requirments:Expertise to use technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot equipment and processes.Background with the operation of simple shop equipment (band saws, vertical and horizontal saws, drill press, mills lathes, grinders, etc).Background with troubleshooting and repairing basic electrrical systems and components (starter, switches, potentiometers, fuses, relays, etc).Background with troubleshooting and repairing electronics (level probes, flow meters, RTD's
