Farm Insurance Underwriter - Hastings MutualHastings Mutual has an opening for a Farm Underwriter to join our Underwriting team. This role will review policy applications submitted by our independent agents in addition to building relationships with our agents. The Farm Underwriter will work as part of a team dedicated to profitably growing our business within Hastings Mutual's Farm Lines.Reporting to the Farm Underwriting Manager, this position will be based at our Hastings, Michigan corporate offices.Position assignments& ResponsibilitiesReviews, approves, and processes applications, endorsements, and renewals that are acceptable based on current underwriting guidelines. Prepares proper referral for those outside incumbent's authority. Responsible for effective and efficient negotiation/communication with our agency force within teams geographically assigned and inter/intra departmental personnel; both written and oral.
