Production Technician - DT Manufacturing Company, LLCThe Production Technician flexibly participates in 1 or more of the following areas: produce parts, audit quality, pack and ship, and perform maintenance on machinery and/or facilities. A Production Technician's scope of work includes (but is not limited to) the following: - Setup the machine and production process for new products. Machine Operation and Trimming - Follow the Work Instructions, interpreting work orders and specifications. - Perform assigned work effectively, meeting machine utilization and part production rates within targeted scrap levels. Quality Auditing - Inspect parts, using Limit Samples and Quality Defect lists. Put non-conforming parts in designated place(s), and label and record them. - Immediately notify the Supervisor when defects exceed a defined volume. - Keep records of good and scrap parts, using forms provided by the Manager of Quality Assurance.
