Position details: To design structural foundations and/or hull modifications for U.S. Navy and commercial ships and to mentor/train junior engineers. Applicant would be responsible for leading ship-class efforts with full range of design integration between multiple disciplines. Applicant would be responsible for performing basic structural calculations to support design work as well as checking final drawings for accuracy, efficiency of design, cost effectiveness and functionality.
