Senior Demand Planner - Marina del Rey - (Marina Del Rey, CA)

Position title: Senior Demand Planner Department: Operations Reports To: VP, Operations SmartyPants is looking for a motivated, dedicated, and detail-oriented individual for the Senior Demand Planner position at a leading CPG start-up brand in preventative health. What Youll Do: Create and maintain a demand plan by determining the model that is most appropriate for each SKU based on velocity Set forecast variance tolerance by SKU; report actual versus goal on a monthly basis and work with Sales to root cause and countermeasure results above tolerance Manage end to end demand forecasting (both volume and value) across multiple categories to improve customer service levels and to reduce end-to-end COGS and working capital Prepare and execute monthly cadence of Sales & Operations Planning meetings involving Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations Partner with supply planning to manage the impact of unexpected forecast variation and monthly demand changes
