MUNICIPAL SERVICES & OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT/STREETS DIVISION--PAY RANGE: $16.38 TO $23.42 PER HOUR DOQ--(STARTING SALARY AT ENTRY-LEVEL OF PAY RANGE- $16.38/HR)-- RESPONSIBILITIESConstruction maintenance position that will perform a variety of semi-skilled, manual labor activities and duties related to the maintenance and repair of public infrastructure, and other related duties within the Department as assigned.--The position may be assigned to the concrete maintenance, asphalt maintenance, storm water or levee/airport crews and will be cross-trained on utility field maintenance operations.--All crews assist with special in-house construction projects, may be assigned to assist other crews, provide emergency response and seasonal snow removal and may include 12-hour shifts working days and/or nights.-- QUALIFICATIONSFormal or informal education or training which ensures the expertise to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
