Procurement Compliance & Training Manager with Security Clearance - (Germantown, MD)

United States of America - Maryland, Germantown Position overview Compliance and Training Manager will provide guidance, training, and reviews of all compliance related activities within the function to comply with State and Federal procurement regulations and Public Laws. In addition, the Compliance and Training Manager will act as working manager/supervisor within the Procurement and Supply Chain Organization, providing training, compliance guidance, audit, and procurement and strategies. Primary responsibilities: * Compliance strategies and training as it relates to Federal Acquisition Regulations, DFARS, DEARS, AFARS and Public Laws (e.g., Dodd Frank Act, Conflict Minerals, CUI, etc.) * Provide guidance in the development, training, and management and maintenance of procurement procedures. SCM will deliver procurement training on regular basis. * Perform audit tests to demonstrate adherence to policies and regulatory requirements. * Identify gaps, training opportunities and process improvements.
