Industrial Hygiene Senior Scientist with Security Clearance - (Carlsbad, NM)

United States of America - New Mexico, Carlsbad Job overview Nuclear Waste Partnership, an LLC of AECOM, is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Senior Scientist to be based in our Carlsbad, New Mexico location. The successful applicant will perform detailed Industrial Hygiene and Safety related work, analyze findings, lead meetings such as fact findings, prepare reports and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Accurately interpret, apply and explain applicable codes, laws regulations, policies and procedures. Use initiative and independent judgment to make decisions within WIPP procedures and established guidelines. Understand and follow departmental policies. Will perform hazard analysis and will develop and implement mitigating strategies for employee protection. Min Requirements * Bachelors of Science degree plus 9 (9) years of related experience, or * Associateâ??s degree plus thirteen (13) years of related skills is required. * Due to the nature of work, candidates must be US Citizens.
