Process Controls Engineer - (Tuscaloosa, AL)

Order Type : Direct Hire Sirius Technical Services is seeking a Process Controls Engineer for a large client in Tuscaloosa, AL. SUMMARY: Develop, implement and maintain control systems at the refinery. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Assignments include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Insure that the control system is operating properly. Develop configuration and programming for the control systems. Create, troubleshoot, modify and tune control loops as required. Troubleshoot loops and DCS hardware as required. Purchase new instrumentation and DCS equipment as required. Work with the process engineers to develop advanced control systems required by the refinery. Add points to and maintain the AspenTech InfoPlus.21 historian for process data. Work with IS personnel, install software on engineering PC's to access the historian and DCS via the HRC LAN. Maintain process control LAN. Train and assist the control technicians.
