Application Engineer - Farmington - (Farmington, CT)

Major Focus: Provide technical support and customized solutions to customers Required responsibilities: Major Challenges: Develop solutions with customers Support Outside Sales and ISRs with technical assistance Determine costing and provide pricing to internal/external customers Providing technical assistance in rapid request cycles from sales Learn to identify potential Service Revenue opportunities Qualify leads prior to solving customer problem using BUNT process Expected Performance Outcomes: Required experience: Generate solo product revenue of $15k +$5k service revenue quarter Qualify lead and prioritize leads by maintaining initial contact time Offer relevant solutions to customers in a timely manner by keeping quote time Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar engineering discipline Prior customer-facing role Background with BOMs, material selection, costing 5-seven years prior engineering role in manufacturing environment
