Industrial Electrician Thomasville, GeorgiaPosition at Hood Lumber Hood Industries' sawmill located in Metcalf, GA (southwest GA, just outside of Thomasville) is seeking experienced off-shift Industrial Electricians. Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for repair and maintenance of the electrical components for all sawmill production equipment. Sample duties include (but not limited to):Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic issues on all production equipmentTroubleshoot, repair & rebuild A/C motor controlsInstall, clean, replace & program AIR CONDITIONING variable frequency drivesAdjust timers & counters and change out bad PLCsRepair MCC bucketsInstall, troubleshoot and calibrate scannersTest, repair and replace photo sensors, proximity sensors, pneumatic & hydraulic solenoid valves, various types of switches
