Machinist - (Superior, WI)

Responsible to operate and maintain Toolroom machinery in a safe and efficient manner.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB: Set-up and operate Tool room equipment (i.e., lathe, mill, broach, grinders etc.) and machine parts to job specifications. Monitor and adjust machine(s) during process to achieve acceptable quality. Understand and perform, if necessary, inventory paperwork and computer transactions. Perform preventative maintenance on machines as scheduled. Perform all housekeeping duties. Follow company safety practices and procedures to provide a safe work atmosphere for all employees. Perform all other duties, as required, to meet customer and company quality and productivity needs. Background/Education Required: High-school degree or equivalent.
