Sr. Garage UW/Broker (LA) - (Slidell, LA)

Description Slidell, La based Insurance MGA/Wholesale Insurance Brokerage firm has an immediate opportunity for experienced Sr. Garage UW/Broker (In addition to Auto PD, MTC, Auto in relation to Garage related risk). We are looking for Underwriter/Brokers that can report into our LA office, however will consider remote settings with experience and relationships with Independent Retail Insurance Agents in our area. We will consider remote opportunities to the right candidates who are qualified as an option, or for a person in a state where we are licensed. (AL, FL, GA, LA, MS, OK, TX) Responsibilities •Underwrite new, renewal & endorsement business for insurance company partners under their guidelines •Oversee the evaluation, classification, and rating of risk to determine acceptability, coverage, and pricing •Implement underwriting policies under the direction of the Management and ensure compliance with these policies
