Family based mental health professional - (Philadelphia, PA)

Position overview Typical Duties and Responsibilities: The foremost responsibility of the MHP is to provide family and individual treatment to the families on their case load. They work collaboratively with their teammate (Mental Health Worker) as well as other systems impacting the family (ie Family Court, Child Welfare, Educational Systems, other Mental/Behavioral Health Providers, etc.). The MHP provides services in the client’s home/environment during “non-traditional hours”, according to the needs and schedules of the families on their caseload. All assessment and treatment activities implemented will conform to family based regulations and good practice standards. Additionally, the MHP will: Conduct initial and ongoing assessment of the client and family, including review of referral info; identify and engage key participants while identifying systemic strengths and needs; complete eco-systemic structural assessment of targeted behaviors/problems within the ecological context.
