Duties HelpDuties Summary The incumbents of these positions are responsible for assisting in the research and development of software useful for establishing and maintaining the efficient, productive, and cost-effective operation of the National Airspace System (NAS). Learn more about this agency Responsibilities The Pathways Internship Program serves as 1 of the agency's succession planning programs intended to assist in the need for leadership continuity by employing outstanding students that are enrolled in a major that leads to a bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (S.T.E.M). The Program provides students, in accredited colleges and universities, with paid opportunities to explore federal careers while completing their education.We are looking for highly motivated student interns with an expected graduation beyond 2020, to help with FAA succeed in its Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen) research efforts.
