Benefits Coordinator - (Amherst, OH)

Position title: Benefits Coordinator Location: Amherst, NY Status: Full time, Non-Exempt Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 (or 8:00) AM - 4:00 (or 4:30) PM SUMMARY OF DUTIES The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for ensuring effective administration of workers compensation claims, disability benefits, employee leaves of absence, FMLA, NYS PFL, and the ADA process. Supports the administration of employee benefit plans. Leads agency wellness initiatives to promote positive and healthful employee living. Works closely with the Human Resources Manager to ensure compliance and consistent application of agency policy and procedures. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP Reports to the Human Resources Manager. REQUIRED FUNCTIONS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS Ensures effective administration of workers compensation claims, short term and long term disability claims, and COBRA processing. Manages employee leaves of absence, FMLA, NYS PFL and the ADA process. Supports the administration of employee benefit plans and on-line enrollment.
