General Info Location 400 Central Ave Haledon, NJ 07508 United States Employee Type Non-Exempt Contact info Email jspittlerbraenstone.com Description Braen Stone Industries, the leading supplier of construction materials including stone, sand, asphalt, septic materials, recycled materials and agricultural limestone, is currently seeking a Laborer/Groundsman for our Haledon Asphalt Plant. Duties for this position will include the daily maintenance of the plant; greasing of bearings, adjusting belts, checking fuel levels, sweeping, shoveling, checking oil levels, loading out trucks, as well as general quarry/asphalt and maintenance work as needed. The successful applicant should be mechanically inclined and able to successfully climb steps and perform the duties of the position at elevated heights (80’). We are a safety minded company and expect the successful applicant to be as well. This position is hourly, non-exempt from overtime. Overtime is paid after eight hours are worked each day.
