Associate Accountant - Solana Beach - (Solana Beach, CA)

Associate Accountant or Senior Accountant Electronics Parts, Devices and Components trading company in San Diego is seeking an experienced Accountant (either Junior Associate or Senior level).-- SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting with Accounting functions of the company, assisting management with special projects and tasks, and other duties as assigned. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Assists in month-end balancing. Maintains and organizes cash and credit card receipts. Responds to customer inquiries. Communicates with customers via phone and email to ensure customer pays per agreed terms. Communicates with inside sales rep to resolve issues related to pricing or returns. Communicates with asset manager to resolve issues related to suppliers. Supports other accounting projects as needed. Conducts some Accounts Payable work, such as matching receivers and supplier invoices and entering AP other invoices. Prepares weekly and monthly reports for suppliers.
