Senior/ Principal Scientist Dermatology-Biomarkers - (Chicago, IL)

The Biomarker Science group within Global Therapeutics Research seeks an experienced biomarker scientist or clinician to identify and develop biomarkers that can support portfolio progression and provide diagnostic value. The disease focus will be dermatology and immune dysfunction. The successful applicant should have at least 5 yrs of relevant experience working in an immunology or biomarker discovery laboratory, clinical laboratory setting, or a veterinary clinic treating patients. The individual should have experience with various biomarker platforms (flow cytometry, immunoassays, transcriptomic analysis), a strong understanding of dermatopathology in the veterinary medicine, and strong analysis skills (multivariate approaches). The applicant should also have great communication, organizational and people skills. JOB DUTIES: Define and build appropriate biomarker strategies to support portfolio progression and potential product commercialization.
