Director of Operations - (East Camden, AR)

Position summary Directs the daily flow of material and production output for the plant to meet the expectations of the business plan in a Government/DoD Contracting environment. Assignments include assuring the safe practices are followed and promoted the practice of behavioral based safety. Assures all the Standard Operating Procedures, training certifications and Quality requirements are followed. Main responsibilities Coordinates production execution, manufacturing engineering, maintenance and facilities in accordance with policies, principles and procedures established by General Manager. Develops plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees. Promotes an operationally safe behavioral based safety environment. Utilizes the resources of the operations and engineering departments and coordinates with other staff members to design schedules and assure proper product flow to meet the business plan. Manages and supervises Operations Managers and Engineering staff.
