Assistant Chief Insurance Examiner - (Gardnerville, NV)

The Position Insurance Examiners perform professional work in verification and analysis of the financial condition/solvencyand market conduct examination of providers of insurance and related products in the State. Under administrative direction, the incumbent coordinates the execution of the Division's financial examinations; provides direction and coordinates the efforts of contract examiners and division analysts to ensure timely and cost effective examinations in accordance with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) guidelines and accreditation standards; and provides recommendations regarding deficiencies and improvements to the examination process. This position is with the Nevada Division of Insurance, Carson City office, within the Corporate and Financial Affairs section. The position is supervisory in nature, overseeing the financial analysis of domestic insurers in accordance with standards promulgated by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.
