Job Description POSITION OVERVIEW Manages a team of Account Managers in a region. Sells products and services to national and regional organizations. Manages a team of sales people, sets expectations, assists in growing sales territories, targets key accounts, to attain company goals. Maintains records on each key account and communicates as often as required with the Area Vice President ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Develops a sales strategy with the Area Vice President. 2. Develops a strategic plan to execute the sales strategy. 3. Identifies and closes new business with the Area Vice President. 4. Develops a strategy with Area Vice Presidents of Sales for account penetration of Health Care Professionals. 5. Develops key relationships with large volume Health Care Professionals. 6. Researches and understands healthcare reform as it relates to all changes in the managed care landscape. 7. Possesses the expertise to sell the company's services utilizing a structured sales process.
