Research Scientist (Neuroscientist) - (Redwood City, CA)

The scientist has background with patch clamp from spinal cord and/or brain slices. Essential function of this position is to perform electrophysiological studies on the mechanism of spinal cord stimulation being developed from Nevro Corp. Works closely with other teammates in designing experimental protocols. Provides scientific oversight for all active projects, including giving timely feedback and/or advice within the department and all supporting groups. Performs a variety of analysis in the collection, verification, analysis, documentation and interpretation of research data. Evaluates and interprets collected data, and prepares presentations and reports. Negotiates contract with lab, purchases and maintaines equipment Role Qualifications A PhD in Neuroscience and postdoc background in pain field at least three years. Background with rat and mice surgeries. Background with in vivo and/ or in vitro electrophysiology in rat /mice spinal cord and brain.
