The Systems Engineer position is responsible for designing and implementing computer systems, software, and networks for C Spire Business clients. They ensure that computer systems function efficiently and securely to support client info technology needs. They must be hardworking, honest, possess a love of technology, and desire to be part of a great team. They must have the ability to manage themselves, clients, and multiple projects. Key functions Architect, install, configure, maintain, and upgrade products within area(s) of ability. Serve as the primary support and maintenance resource for core clients. Participate in requirements gathering and end user support. Interact with sales and support staff for client pre-sales, planning, maintenance, training, and support activities. Prepare client proposals and statements of work (SOW). Prepare bill of materials (BOMs) for hardware and software quotes.
