R&D Engineer, Staff - (Oregon, OH)

Job details and Qualifications Being part of global R&D team of Mask Synthesis tools to deliver solutions to leading semiconductor foundries. The hiring team mainly focuses on high performance distributed computing platform to support optical proximity correction (OPC), resolution enhancement (RET), and mask/lithography verification (LRC) applications. This position will be focusing on optimizing the platform with strong memory, performance, scalability qualifications, and maintaining legacy code. Working within a highly distributed global R&D teams including US, Taiwan, China, and other countries. Remote meeting and discussion on regular basis, with direct customer technical discussion occasionally. Qualifications: MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science, or Engineering with a min of 8yrs of intensive C/C++ programming experience is required. Applicants should have experience in development of large scale complex software on UNIX/Linux in a team environment with good software development practice.
