Environmental Engineer Senior - DW - 08617 - (Chicago, IL)

This field position is 1 of four Financial and Construction Assistance Project Engineers/Project Managers whose responsibility is to manage construction projects throughout Virginia that are funded by the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) and Water Supply Assistance Grant Fund (WSAGF). Critical duties of this position include: (1) providing program technical assistance to DWSRF and WSAGF construction funding recipients, consulting engineers, and potential funding recipients (2) directing and assisting recipients to ensure that DWSRF and WSAGF construction projects progress timely (3) performing periodic on site project progress evaluations of DWSRF and WSAGF construction projects and (4) ensuring that DWSRF and WSAGF construction projects are completed in accordance with applicable regulations. This position has an extremely heavy workload and is currently responsible for managing over twenty construction projects that are in various stages of completion.
