Project Manager - Horizontal Construction - (San Francisco, CA)

The Project Manager (PM) will report to a Senior Project Manager (SPM) and will act as Owners Representative managing the general engineering contractor and leading the completion of a $50M streetscape improvement project in the San Francisco Bay Area. Project Scope includes roadway demolition, wet/dry utilities, grading, concrete, paving and landscaping. Under supervision of a SMP, PM will lead construction in all aspects of budgeting, cost review, change management, project schedule management, quality control and project reporting. Position based onsite in San Francisco. RESPONSIBILITIES: Negotiate contracts for and manage all selected contractors. Oversee construction project to ensure budget, quality and schedule. Initiate field directives, evaluate change orders and regularly report on project costs and progress. Review contracts, change order requests, track payments, inspect work progress onsite, and ensure design and construction quality control benchmarks are met.
