Robotic Weld Tech - 2nd Shift - (Kasson, MN)

Our client, a well-respected leader in its industry, is looking to hire a second shift robotic weld tech for its state of the art facility in Rochester, MN. The robotic weld tech will program weld robots and CNC machines when needed. Must utilize proven lean manufacturing problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvement. EDUCATION, BACKGROUND, AND REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: Associate Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or 5+ years equivalent prior hands-on robotic weld tech background. SKILLS: Program weld robots. Set-up, operate and tend robotic welder. Loads and unload parts, checks quality of welds, and perform basic troubleshooting. Operates manual or semi-automatic welding equipment. Weld parts to print specification. Observes robot operation to detect defects or machine malfunction and reports issues that may fall outside of product specifications. Current knowledge of weld defect identification/troubleshooting.
